How Big Are You Thinking?

The scriptures tell us as believers we have the mind of Christ. This is not merely for “religious” thinking, but rather that we can begin to think with a kingdom mentality, to begin to see and think on a scale and with the scope of God’s mind for our lives, our family, our finances, our calling and our destiny.

God wants to give you God sized dreams, visions and goals, not man sized. We must begin to open our hearts and minds to imagine what God sees for us.

1 Corinthians 2:16 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.

  1. Sometimes we are lucky enough to stop in all the hustle and bustle and look at a person and ask ourselves, what is it about a person? We know in our hearts that for whatever reason that person or this person is unique in their own way. We can feel that. For me, I think I pick up on the love in somebody’s heart. It may be hidden so deep it is hidden to others, I believe God gives us all gifts. I am not saying I am special in any way, shape or form, but I know for me, this is one of his gifts to me and I take so much joy in it when I can look at a person and feel that love in his or her heart. I am so thankful.

You are special and unique, every person that God has created is made as such. If we allow ourselves the liberty to understand that and if we could see ourselves and all that God has for our lives through His eyes, we would never desire to be anyone else but ourselves. Each of us has an indescribably beautiful existence that is found in God. Each of us is loved, honored, cherished and gifted by God in a special and exclusive way. Our beauty speaks volumes on its own but when we connect with each other in love, it creates an even greater masterpiece.
